U13 Tigers Take Kent By Storm!

Our U13 Tigers have had a brilliant first season in the Kent Youth League!

U13 Tigers Kent County Cup Winners - 2012They are currently joint top of the Kent League (North) Division and they also won the Kent League Cup in March by beating a very strong Glebe side 2-0 in the floodlit final at Lordswood FC.

However, their biggest achievement was on 1st April when they won The Tesco Kent County Cup (left) for the first time in Long Lane’s history! They defeated an excellent Ebbsfleet United side now progress on to represent the County in the National competition. Manager Dean Bresnahan is very proud of the boy’s who are a real credit to our Club and the Kent League.

We are extremely lucky at Long Lane to have such a strong U13 age group. Our Lions, managed by Rob Nelson, have also had a really good season in the Kent Youth League (South) and the Pumas, run by Alan Gordon, have done well in the Selkent Division.
